Aim and Scope:

Canadian Journal of Clinical Nutrition is an international, multidisciplinary scholarly and peer-reviewed journal (print and online) published by Global Science Heritage Publisher Company,  which was found in 2013 and is registered by the Library and Archives/Government of Canada (www.collectionscanada.gc.ca), Business License Number: 220080600. The journal is published semiannually (Two issues per year). 

The Journal welcomes publications that promote the exchange of ideas and scientific findings between researchers all over the world. It publishes original scientific work related to nutrition and other different aspects of science disciplines in relation to human health. All papers of original research using animal models, cell culture systems, nutritional surveys, and human subjects are welcomed.  

All submitted articles in this journal undergo rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing by at least two anonymous referees.  The accepted articles, after the peer review process, are further subjected to statistical and editorial revision as deemed necessary, including abridgment of the text and omission of tables or graphs. The journal provides free and open access to all of its content on our website, accordingly, the accepted articles will immediately appear online followed by printed in hard copy, as per the authors’ request.

The journal complies with the terms and conditions stated in the Creative Common Attribution-Non Commercial Public License 4.0. Authors of the articles are granted the privileges stated in the public license and the terms and conditions can be accessed via Creative Common License Link Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 International.

Plagiarism: 

Plagiarism is strictly forbidden, and by submitting the article for publication the authors agree that the Global Science Heritage Publisher has the legal right to take appropriate action against the authors if plagiarism or fabricated information is discovered. We define plagiarism as a case in which a manuscript reproduces another work with more than 20 % similarity and without citation.

The editor-in-chief actively checks for plagiarism, and the authors are not allowed to utilize verbatim text of previously published papers or manuscripts submitted elsewhere.  We accept all terms and conditions of COPE about plagiarism and in case, any attempt of plagiarism is brought to our attention accompanied by convincing evidence, we act based on flowcharts and workflows determined in COPE.
